Another week of RW craziness, but this time they were all in one place at CPAC and because Breitbart's site tries to sucker you into malware, I went to the place for all things (ir)rational: National Review Online. And I learned a new term:"Drugealanche"!
Their comments for the flavor of the moment, "Eagle" Scott Walker, below
The problem I have with the next 2016 election is immigration. That is the deal breaker for me. If the 12+ million get legalized, they will then be able to send for their families and relatives and act as sponsor. They will then be able to access all social assistance. ie: welfare, education, medical, and the list just goes on and on. Things the normal US citizen that is homeless would never get. Per the Dallas Morning news, 5 to 7 thousand dollars a month is spent on illegal kids and their parents. Our tax and medicare systems are being raped by the illegals. (with consent of RINOs and Democrats) I do not mind legal immigration, but putting millions of democrat voters in this country will destroy America as we know it and 3rd world status is the reward for doing so. I do not support Rand, or Scott.
So quit believing the liberal media and the TPINOS about Walkers immigration policy, or lack therof....
So TPINO is a thing?
Walker's stance on immigration reform evolved over the years. He said as a gubernatorial candidate in 2010 that he would sign an Arizona-style bill, which would allow local police to stop suspected illegal immigrants, if he were elected. Then, in December 2012, Walker said he no longer favored such a bill, telling reporters that such legislation would become a "huge distraction" from accomplishing his agenda for the state. Today, Walker said he would support a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants under some circumstances. Walker said he is in favor of the Senate immigration bill--that features a path to citizenship--but called it a backward "Band-Aid" approach, saying elected leaders should make it easier for people to enter the country and become legal citizens in the first place.
Source: Wisconsin Rapids Tribune, "Endorses path to citizenship" , Jul 3, 2013
The more I look into this guy the less I like him for president. Gov OK, but to liberal minded for me.
Yeah, pull that "backward ouch-less" off, GOP operative
You'll never get an answer to that question. The "purity clowns" prefer to denigrate the entire field while offering nothing constructive. And if they do give a name, then some other "purer" purity clown will attack THAT candidate. Ridiculous.
Geez they have the same problem over there
When it comes to judging conservative politicians, let not one or two pet peeves dissuade you if 90% of that the dude represents is OK.
Ronald Reagan's Rule (may he rest in peace) applies here -- "He that is not against us is for us." (Well, tactically, and in the short run, but -- yeah.)
But as Keynes said, "in the long run....
The two most effective Republican governors in recent times have been Rick Perry and Scott Walker. I would like to see a south/north GOP ticket of Perry/Walker in 2016. It would defeat Hillary, I think.
A Perry Walker would be some kind of prosthetic device
If you can't summon the use of a question mark (?) you clearly need union protection.
Alright, to all of you Rand Paul supporters, let me try to give you some insight. I'm a strong conservative/libertarian. As of now, I'm for Cruz/Walker as my top two guys, with Perry and Jindal as maybes. But I'm absolutely open to hear what Paul has to say, and would certainly support him if her were to get the nomination. But his biggest weakness, to me, is the extremely vocal component of his supporters who come across as arrogant jerks. It's like some of you think that if we don't believe Paul is the only possible solution then we probably can't walk and chew gum at the same time. It's condescending, obnoxious, and probably has the effect of closing peoples' minds to your preferred candidate. Do you like being part of a small, self-satisfied, superior minority-an inner ring of clerks as C.S. Lewis described it? Believe me, I'm behind your guy on many issues, but tone down your egos or risk driving away me and many other supporters.
(Condescension is invariably unjustified, by the way.)
Won't vote for RP ...he apparently IS definitely pro amnesty, as well as pro druggie...
Well, I think "pro druggie" is a willful misinterpretation of the small-government position on how to deal with the medical/psychological/social problem of substance abuse.
It's not "willful" and it's not about "medical"...
it's about people who want any excuse to legally
Inhale the vapors of a burning plant into their lungs to produce some sort of euphoria that they can use to substitute for their inability to emotionally cope with the problems of life.
Just look at the killer of Chris Kyle who was all toked up when he killed him...
And you want to think it's normal..
He wasn't toked up. He was smoking meth (speed) and wet (PCP). This is a far cry from marijuana. More than half of all murders, rapes.and traffic fatalities are due to booze. Tobacco (also legal and acccepted) kills more people than ALL other drugs combined,
That's not Ron Paul' big problem - his problem is thqt his foreign policy would be identical to Obama's. Just stick his heqd in rhe sane, and all problems will magically disappear. Unfortunately, even most potheads and speed freaks have a more realistical understandint of the world than Rand Paul and his unbalanced father Ron Paul.
same drug induced difference...everywhere drugs go, crime is sure to follow
So you are saying that everywhere alcohol and tobacco are legally available, crime is sure to follow? WFB sailed his yacht into the Atlantic to try weed; he didn't like it. You are telling me that on that occasion, he sailed his yacht back to Massachusetts, and went on a crime spree?
I didn't say I was doing drugs. I am talking about how far the law should go. A lot of crimes might be prevented if the law could control what people think and say. Maybe we should abolish kitchen knives and baseball bats. Can't be too careful.
William F. Buckley probably wouldn't have shot anyone in the back
I describe myself as a small-l libertarian who's Reaganite on foreign policy. I think there's room to be more careful what we get ourselves into without being unrealistic about real threats. Sometimes careful means not making it up as you go along and trying to have everything both ways like Obama is doing, but being more serious about what you intend to accomplish so you can make short work of it. Sometimes it means sending the right signals so you won't have to send in the boots.
Smoke signals with PCP
No, I didn't say anything about it being normal. Getting stoned and killing someone is wrong. Just killing someone without being stoned is also wrong. And because both of those scenarios involve real harm to people, interfering with or taking away their life/liberty using illegitimate force, the killing part ought to be dealt with by law, legitimate force following due process. This is why "governments were instituted" by the people--and our institution of government carefully limits it to doing its proper job.
I would direct your attention to the fundamental problem of assuming that everything that's not a good idea ought to be illegal, and the related problem of failing to consider the enforcement required. There are better ways of dealing with medical/psychological/social problems than attempting to convert them into a criminal problem.
"[A]ssuming that everything that's not a good idea ought to be illegal" is hallmark of the left. We should keep it that way.
Say what?
Initially I liked the thought of Scott Walker being president. However, after his speech on illegals getting a path to citizenship, that stopped me from ever voting for him. Scott also said he wanted to close the border but that is just a battle, illegals and citizenship is loss of the war. I can not understand why, our political leaders do not understand what putting millions of illegals in the work force will be a good thing. Jobs and wages will fall and so will the middle class. They just do not get it.
They get it. They just don't care. Look at Romney hiring 2 Hispanics to share 1 job, keeping their sAlaries just below the line of having to pay social security tax and health insurance. 1 housekeeper was legal the other disappeared. The ones who run industry want cheap labor because if you have to live in a hovel they say it's your own fault.
WASHINGTON POST INTERVIEW per Legalinsurrection.com
"Towards the end of the interview, Bannon noted that “Amnesty is about the sovereignty of the country.” But, he asked Walker,“the Washington Post said earlier that you’re pro-pathway to citizenship.”
“See now that’s where they take it out of context,” Walker said in response. “I’ve not said there should be amnesty in this country. I don’t believe that. I don’t support the legislation being kicked around.
What I’ve said repeatedly is we need to fix the immigration system, but fix the legal system. So if people want to come in this country we should have a legal immigration system.”
Conservatives need to start passing bills without letting anyone read them like the communist party does.
Just like "holds" on bills
What conservatives? We only have fake conservatives now. RINO, and CINOs are in charge of the big government GOP.
No, we community moderators (there are actually dozens of us who have been deputized by the Moderator) are here to preserve NRO as a place where those of us on the conservative-libertarian spectrum can have a good debate on all sorts of differences within the big tent. In fact we also have liberals who participate in those debates.
The people who get the boot have shown themselves to be here for some other purpose, like to be condescending, obnoxious, and disruptive.
Good thing nothing like that happens here
Walker/Cruz '16! I kinda like the sound of that one. Sounds way better than Endora/Princess Spreading Bull '(a cold day in he!!)!
No Cankles/Fauxcahontas ticket..
Scott Talker
Will Scott Walker end the mass unconstitutional NSA spying on all Americans without a warrant ? Will Scott Walker end the total surveillance Police State in this country and return the Constitution as the rule of law ? Will Scott Walker audit the monetary policy of the Unconstitutional Federal Reserve Central Banking Cartel ??
We wish!
Will he break up the DHS, who pretends to protect us from "terrorism" but in reality is the shock trooper force that has, and will declare war on any American they deem "extremist"?
Nope ! Sorry, I'm a registered Republican / Constitutional Conservative that is done supporting establishment, lesser of two evils candidates. But good luck labeling any Republican that thinks outside of the box a troll. By the way, it's that same "inside the box" mentality that earned the GOP it's last two presidential losses. Might want to think about that for a while... maybe you're not such a captain of the obvious after all ??
And your a retard. Never did I say the two party system wasn't broken. We R's are not represented in Congress. That's where the RINOS are. When the RNC calls me I give them the GFY you give me. I never committed to Jeb, I merely stated that we need a rational discussion of the role for the FED, which currently is too political. And FIAT money is wrong. I do not vote big government. I'd rather vote for you than BHO, couldn't be worse. Don't laugh too hard you'll choke yourself.
We usually give paulbots and purity clowns some room to display their nonsense and then answer them back. No need to delete unless they start getting abusive.
So you will sit out the vote like many of you did the last time and we will get 8 more years of the same crap but this time with Hillary. Hey I'm a Democrat and I voted for Romney the last time and swallowed hard and voted for McCain the first time as I saw this coming 6 years ago.
Folks like you got to wake up and understand that it may take someone like Walker to get us to a place where sanity may kick in once again. Sure we could hope for a Reagan again but you and I know that is probably not going to happen.
Walker has accomplished a lot in a state where he has been recalled twice and still won each time despite heavy union money going against him.
So if he is the candidate stay home if you can honestly say you think we wouldnt be better of had Romney won. Otherwise get in line a pull the lever as sometimes the lesser of two evils is a far better choice than letting the greater of two evils win!
I like Rand Paul. All I am commenting on is your decision to forgo the vote if the guy you dont like is nominated. That kind of thinking got us 4 more years of the greater of two evils. I believe Romney would have done a much better job and though not a conservative he was the lesser of two evils.
So by true conservatives like your self staying home and not voting as the Republican candidate was not "Conservative" enough we get the polar opposite and the slow destruction of our country.
Change sometimes has to be made in small steps and a candidate like Walker does not fit the bill of everything you like but he sure is a lot better than the alternative.
My only point. If it were up to me a Dem, I'd like to dig up Reagan and clone a candidate but that is not going to happen.
If I thought like you I couldnt vote for Rand Paul as I do not like everything about him especially his foreign policy, but if he should win, I'll pull the lever for him.
Zombie Walker in the picture above is the closest we'll get except Scott can't act, but he does want to direct
When they come for you there will be no one to stand up for you. Just wait till sharia law knocks on your door, no one will be there to help you but you.
I agree we have lots of internal issues, but we cannot continue to NOT support our allies and ignore isis.
What exactly are "the threats we face from internal forces" that would qualify our interest in not allowing isis to take over the middle east, "to pale in comparison"?
NSA spying; militarized police forces; banks re-engaging in financial chicanery; high real unemployment level; lowest workforce participation in decades; 11 million illegal immigrants, with more on the way; porous borders; 18 trillion dollar national debt; dysfunctional government. I could go on, but hopefully even someone as dense as you can start to get the picture.
...But, isis takes over the middle east and we're in WW3.
You need to get out more. ISIS is a local group of fanatic without a fixed base. They have no capabilities even close to those of the United States, Britain, or other Western powers. Unless they magically take over Israel, they have no nuclear weapons.
It takes a real enemy, not a puffed up group of thugs, to start a war, much less a world war. You need to stop watching Fox News and get a grip on reality, dude. In the real world, ISIS does not even rank in the top 500 in terms of military prowess.
Tell that one to the Korean vets, the Vietnam vets, the Iraqi vets, the Afghanistan vets, etc....I said "if they take over the middle east" brainiac... And since you think that 500 number is correct, I would suggest you label yourself "dense' , and you should possibly try to "get out more."
Incidentally your answer is childish gibberish, like your original post. Step away from the basement awhile kid.
You could also add 'buying billions of bullets, then banning them'--'replacing military leaders with those who suggest they would not be afraid to fire on American citizens'--'self-expanding your own "authority"' to your list.
If you care to take a suggestion from "dense" little 'ol me.
We may also have a tough time disengaging the current first family from the WH.
Call the Sheriff to evict them - and plow that veggie garden under
At a joint conference between ISIS
and Taliban at the gates of Bagdad concerning their future co-operation there
is news about a possible disagreement, as follows: Taliban prefers the new name
of the future joint state to be Osamastan, while ISIS favors Obamastan –
arguing that their preferred name looks to the future and not to the past.
After all, Osama bin Laden is dead whereas B. Hussein Obama is alive and in the
White House surrounded by his Muslim Brotherhood advisers.
(sorry - just joshing earnestly)
The new government plan for fighting
ISIS is to find jobs for those jihadist murderers. If there is anyone who can
work with jihadists — and help to create jobs for them — it is our 45th
Imam. Scratch that. I meant to say, our 45th President B. Hussein
Obama. Among shovel-ready jobs available are those of grave diggers.
Yes, it is an open forum. But you have to understand that there are people who come here on assignment with disinformation and rumors. If that is your honest take on him you are entitled to your opinion. If you back it up with details as you did, you will be less likely to be confused with the concern trolls on a mission.
As far as what I have observed about Walker--and I have expounded on it on NRO threads--is that he avoids the gotcha traps the media have been setting. There have been several instances just in the past week or so. He gives them nothing they can actually distort and that's why they're mad. Remember that Rudy could word things a little more aggressively than Walker can afford to. Scott is going to need to be able to reach out to the undecided and confused. I also think the country may be ready for some down to earth, ordinary guy appeal.
The Dan Quayle theory of leadership: "down to earth, ordinary guy appeal"
All of the admin's policies are designed to keep the sheeple dependent on their government masters. Sounds kinda like slavery to me.
Yeah, but handling 100,000 peaceful unarmed protestors is just like fighting ISIS. Or something.
Voting record? He's voted on an immigration bill? As governor? Which one? .....When someone starts mindlessly screeching "NEOCON!", they can be safely, and confidently ignored.
Yeah, to me, "neocon" equates with "mindless". Anytime I see "neocon", I think about the "occupy wallstreet" crowd, and similar mentally-flaccid types. Often wrong, but never in doubt.
Good luck with Endora, and her band of flying monkees! lol
Davy's the cute one
The only thing we could not see as you wrote that screed of yours was the terror in your eyes and you being do scare $#!Tless you were about to dump your load!
I like Walker. But it won't make any real difference. A conservative president in a liberal culture is irrelevant. It's the millions of unelected, unfireable bureaucrats that actually run our lives. We need to change the culture to change America's ongoing suicide. And that takes a long time.
He's made a real difference in Wisconsin.
Pre-Walker: public employee unions run the show
Post-Walker: public employee unions defanged and largely irrelevant
Pre-Walker: taxes high and rising
Post-Walker: taxes a bit lower and falling
Pre-Walker: state spending out of control
Post-Walker: state spending disciplined
And he did all this in a blue/purple state. What else do you want from a governor?
Do you folks really believe that Jeb Bush doesn't KNOW he's destroying his chances in the Republican primary with the things he is saying? Of course he does. So ask yourself, why would he do it? To make someone else look good maybe? I dunno, but I think we should at least be curious.
Be wary. Machiavelli wrote "The Prince" over 400 years ago describing the sick and disgusting world of politics. Do you think politicians have gotten better with their "machinations" over the centuries....or worse?
Don't trust politicians. They've never given us a reason to. Just sayin....
So what's the big deal about having a college degree? I have 3 of them and I work for "C" student. I'll take experience over edukachun any day.
I was doing my best, but we need seconds. And it seems to be very much harder for regulars to find their way onto such threads following the redesign. In fact maybe some of them prefer to ignore a Drudgealanche. And I can hardly blame them.
P.S. You may have moderating powers yourself. Have you ever tried? All you have to do is type at symbol plus troll in a reply to the troll. Two people usually gets it done. Just be judicious if it seems to be a borderline case, and don't use it merely to eject someone who disagrees.
Did anyone see a faint outline of Ronald Reagan's ghost behind Scott Walker as he spoke? After 26 years, I'm beginning to hope!
Scott Walker on immigration in 2013
"It's all is about the 11 million [undocumented immigrants]," Walker said. "You hear some people talk about border security and a wall and all that. To me, I don't know that you need any of that if you had a better, saner way to let people into the country in the first place."
Walker added: "If people want to come here and work hard in this
country, I don't care if you come from Mexico or Canada or Ireland or
Germany or South Africa or anywhere else. I want them here."
In the same interview, Walker said "I think they need to fix things for people who are already here, find some way to deal with that." When asked specifically
about the 11 million undocumented immigrants already in the country,
and whether he could "envision a world where with the right penalties
and waiting periods and meet the requirements where those people could
get citizenship," Walker replied "sure ... I mean I think that makes
sense."
Now suddenly he doesn't believe what he said before. Yeah....right. NEOCON.
He actually did a fine job of dancing around the "11 million already here" by never giving a solution except in innuendo or supposition. He is also using the fallacy of common sense where he states "I mean I think that makes sense." Making the listener question themselves on whether their view makes more sense thereby diverting the debate from the real issue. In short Walker is no different than almost all the other politicians out there his flag will flutter in whichever way the wind blows and that wind is based on who is backing him through money and rhetoric. My question is, will we ever see a real choice of liberty vs. authority between two candidates for a presidential election in my lifetime, I won't hold my breath.
I can take it on some issues but On immigration I am a die hard NOOOOOO. I am so sick of them taking over our country and now what they will getting in taxes makes me actually sick to my stomach when I a senior has to pay taxes on my SS income and believe me I am just above the poverty level by 5,000. They make 52,000pr yr on welfare and I have to live a skimpy life to support illegals and welfare slobs.
OMG this is disgusting. I have a young woman with a college degree in the Ukraine that I have been trying to bring here legally for years without any hope. I am not a relative so she cannot come here with my help. She would not be on welfare like the rest of the criminals coming here and living free the rest of their lives and the brood they will produce. She speaks English and would WORK!!! some system.
There's an idea for a website like Russian Tinder there
A walker in the hand is worth two or more bushes!
It's hard to believe this is the headline news at Drudge instead of the Net Neutrality takeover.
The powers that be...like Carl Rove won't support Walker no matter how popular he is with the people. They want Jeb Bush, and will throw all the money that way. They will even undercut Walker like they did the pack in the last election. Sure way to set up things for a Clinton win.
It's time for We the People to elect our president, not who the GOP elite decide it will be.
It's long past the time to stop taking Karl Rove seriously.
Tell that to President Romney
don't pay attention to that clown. He is a hanger on that should be put out to Pasteur with the rest of the rinos.
Oh I see. You post idiot drivel on more than one story. You should stick to bagging on the fireman that shot the dogs, you'll gain more sympathy over there.
No more NeoCons ! No more RINO's ! Rand Paul is the only true Constitutional Conservative that I would vote for. Walker (Herbert Walker Bush) is just another establishment puppet. He will not get my support or my vote.
McCain and Romney both lost in the last week via incorrect tactics- not because of their ideas
Right... four million republicans stayed home because of tactics. Do you believe in unicorns too ?
Well, it certainly wasn't because any neoconic influence Romney may or may not have had
Better case is made that McCain and Romney lost because of tactical failures in the last week of the general. Not their ideas
We don't necessarily ban rabid Paulites as long as they're civil. We do out them (if they're being sneaky) and debate them.
Nope, just a lover of Liberty and tired of being conned & lied to. I will settle for nothing less than a strict Constitutionalist. The RNC can wither & die but I will never be forced into voting for a lesser of two evils.
Every election for the rest of your life you're going to be voting for the lesser of two evils. That's called politics. Man up and do what needs to be done. Or don't complain when Hillary squashes what's left of this country.
If Walker can continue to garner support, it will be this choice: Hillary or Walker? If Rand Paul can become a serious contender, then yes I would vote for him, but that's a huuuuge IF.
Now, hang on a sec... You don't actually think the RINO party will ever allow an actual Conservative to run for President, do you???
It's gonna be Jeb vs Hill Dog. You watch...
I'm voting for Monica Lewinski's Boyfriend's Wife and immediately emigrating! This is gonna be funny stuff from a safe distance...
I hope I'm wrong too!
But, yes, I will pull the lever for Hill Dog if the RINO's force my hand.
In my view a choice between the Good Cop and the Bad Cop isn't really a choice; I'm just going through the motions in a Rigged Game. I don't want to play a Rigged Game, I want the Game to come to an end. And there's no faster way to collapse a Government than to give the Rubes what they want; Free Everything for Everyone!
Meanwhile, I emigrate and wait for the shooting to begin at a safe distance. If, Indeed, the American People ever find their collective Nads I'll be happy to ship the "rebels" weapons from wherever I am or maybe even head back and join the fight .
But until then, the Rubes need a good hard lesson...
We call you a purity clown. No offense.
None taken.
We call you guys Serfs.
No offense...
Have faith friend, maybe the sheeple will wake up and we can vote for, say a Walker/Cruz ticket. I hope so. I for one cannot make myself vote for that lying hag. I won't vote if that's the choice. I can't afford to leave the country and I wouldn't. Where would we be if Sam Adams had said, "Phuk it! I'm going to mexico?"
We'd all be speaking French?
Draw the Libertarian votes? You mean, both of them?
Seriously, I gave up on the LP when the Tea Party movement emerged, and finally gave us Constitutional Conservatives a voice in mainstream politics. LP is well intentioned but way too non-pragmatic to have any amount of success.
Walker is awesome. He's got my vote in the primary.
Makes sense.
Sadly, too many people get involved in politics and mistake it for sports. What's important is their team get a 'win', and they'll root, cheer, and sabotage the other team for that win.
But in sports - there's another game next week, and the real-world effects of a 'win' are over by the next morning. (At worst, when the celebratory hangover dies.)
In politics, a 'win' is a little more durable, and can have some nasty side effects. But it doesn't really matter for the true believers - they'll support the team even if they're screwed over. Because - it's all about the team, about their BELIEF in the team.
So you end up with the JournoList crowd, coordinating messages and attacks. You end up with the media foaming and ranting about something that (for someone with a D after the name) wouldn't even register on the radar.
It's all about the team. It might be composed of conniving, corrupt rip-off artists that'll screw their supporters over in a heartbeat, but it's THEIR team, and they'll support it forever even if it kills them.
When the MMS comes out for a conservative candidate I know for sure that person is headed for the tank. They always get behind the person who will lose to their candidate du jour.
The branch of the Democratic Party known as "The Republican Party" is working very hard to find a candidate who is guaranteed to be able to lose to Hitlery Clinton. Jeb Bush is the man for the job.
Want to fix the economy and jobs quickly? Take these easy steps:
1. Impose a 15% tariff on anything imported from currency-manipulating, worker-exploiting countries like China.
2. Impose a 25% excise tax on anything made by union labor.
I guarantee the economy and jobs will immediately thrive.
An unleavened choice between Flat Taxes and Flat Earth
We really need to educate the hard working Hispanic people that they too are conservatives. It's in their blood to be conservative. The libs want to teach them to be victims.
You would think they would know that but don't forget they are on the receiving end. I live in a town that has been taken over by Spanish and every one of them has a welfare card. The store I shop at told me they did their own survey and 90% of those shopping there have food stamp cards, While me an 81 yr old woman on SS has never received on dime from the government before I retired. They are encouraged to stay home and collect welfare so they will always vote for the Dems.
So who was doing all that investing of your SS taxes?
Walker is by Far the Best candidate the Right has to offer. He actually says what he means, does what he says, and can drum down Hilary in a Debate.... Walker=Rubio 2016 equals Win
On paper, also an excellent choice. But Walker and Haley make a cuter couple... like a pair of local newscasters.
I'm really bummed that Rubio turned out to be such a self-dealer. His ability to explain the free market in terms ordinary people can understand was a valuable asset. I hope he will do penance for his past sins by campaigning vigorously for whoever the nominee turns out to be. At least the Constitution bars Jeb Bush from choosing Rubio as a running mate... that would be the donors' dream ticket and a nightmare for the GOP voter.
I didn't know that, but crossover D is good.
P.S. If you think it's worth your while to help with troll cleanup on a Drudgealanche thread...it's been requested...
I'm sorry, I typed eligible and my liberal spellcheck changed it to reliable. Is he eligible to run for vice president?
Why not? Was he born to an American citizen, just like the current occupant in the WH?
When and if there's ever a candidate that takes zero money from donors maybe then I will vote. I'm not voting for anyone who takes bribes, period. Every single politician that takes money is being bribed.
We all know the one that has "raised" the most money in the end wins. What do they do when they get in office? They do their damnedest to pay back their donors any way possible. They don't care what's right or wrong, no they only care about the money.
This Walker is no different than the rest of them, he just wants to be ruler of the world and he'll do anything to get there, including taking bribes. “If I can take on 100,000 protesters, I can do the same across the world,” he said. I think that statement says it all, he wants the world. They are all crap, elitist, pigs that think they're above it all. The worst part is we just go along with it then wonder why they never live up to their lies. How stupid are we?
You are either a moron or a Democrat troll.
Every discussion of GOP presidential politics brings out your kind.
If you don't want to nudge the ball forward, crawl back into your hole.
This thread was full of trolls yesterday. It was a Drudgealanche. Don't know why I even bothered trying to deal with them.
We are getting close. What percentage of people actually vote? I believe it's around 60-65%. When under half the population votes the govt. will lose all credibility. That means 30-35% doesn't believe in your system of majority rules over the minority.

We have a perfect Constitution, all we need are honest, good people to enforce it. We don't need lawmakers. These so called "laws" are only there to enslave us. Real laws
Uh-huh. Listen, pal, I lived in Chicago for many years. I know all about corrupt pols. Every election is about choosing the lesser of two evils. Usually it's pretty easy.
Here's a hint: Last time, anybody running against the lefty anti-American who imposed Obamacare upon the country was the lesser of two evils.
For 2016: anybody running against the distaff side of Clinton crime syndicate is the lesser of two evils.
If you don't vote for the lesser of two evils you are tacitly supporting the greater of two evils. Happy about that?
Your completely wrong. By not voting (giving my consent) I am telling them I have no belief in any of them, that I say NO to all of them. I have sent all my state legislators emails telling them exactly that. I won't follow their "laws" like obamacare. Almost all their laws are a violation of our freedom. I will never again give my consent to any evil, be it lesser or greater. In doing so I feel I would be selling myself and my beliefs out to the one who tells better lies.
Your not helping one bit by voting for a lesser evil. If you want to help you should be out there telling them and everyone who supports them "NO, I wont give them my permission to screw us." If they want me to obey them they will have to do it by force, I'm not giving them anything willingly.
It's ironic you tell me to grow up when your first post to me is just an insult. Is that how adults act in your world? How about I tell you to wake up and quit playing their game.
Sorry, you're wrong. Nobody cares about your letters, your statements of principle or your 'permission.' Politics is about who wins. The one who gets more votes wins. You get to select which of two candidates you dislike the least. That's not so hard. Grit your teeth and do it. Believe me, the Blue team would vote for the very devil if the other option was a Republican. Staying home means you don't care who wins or loses. If you really feel that way, don't complain as the country slides further into the abyss.
Your making my point for me. It doesn't matter who wins we all lose. One is no better than the other. No matter who you vote for your voting for the devil. The politicans don't do anything but pretend they're important. The real control goes on behind the scenes. Look up Mitre Corp, that's where the control and decisions come from. Your political game you love so is just an illusion to keep you thinking you have a choice.
