Israel's Prime Minister, Binyamin Netanyahu, will address Congress today as culmination of what he calls an "historic mission" on behalf of "the entire Jewish people."
Here is the unprecedented history Netanyahu will be making today:
From this point forward, inviting foreign leaders to attack a sitting president before Congress is in the bag of partisan tricks our leaders may use in policy fights. And this precedent is being set by Netanyahu.
This is not the type of history Israel, a close ally, should be making.
