"They were met with resistance and a shooting incurred," Volusia County Sheriff Ben Johnson told (local Orlando cable outlet) Channel 13 News.
Apparently, standing in your doorway after
a SWAT team swarms into your home is considered "resistance" these days.
Since when does a "pot bust" this small even need a SWAT team?
The sheriff's office allegedly recovered 217 grams of marijuana at the home, along with a scale, pipes, plastic bags and about $3,000 in cash.
I've said it any number of times now--we're being taunted into reaction. That's what authority wants in this country. Resistance. And so they're just going to keep singing this song and dancing this dance that human beings are reacting "negatively" and with "resistance" when that's a blatant lie, while their wanton slaughter of said non-violent
criminals human beings continues. And they'll keep doing it and keep doing it until people
actually start actively resisting.
The Young Turks is the only outlet I've seen feature this abomination in a detailed report. There has been spotty, token coverage by local Florida "media".
Are we too outrage-fatigued to notice the Morticia-like shade of the victim's face? One wonders if that might be why this is not getting wall-to-wall coverage. After all, we wouldn't want the teatwits and the authoritarians from the mushy middle and beyond to start wondering if they're next. The 1 percent needs those useful idiots folks in their corner, to help acclimate the rest of us to canards like "Well, he shouldn't have resisted arrest".
