Bring it!
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, who is not running for reelection in 2016, is getting more delightfully candid by the day. Asked Wednesday by CNBC's John Harwood what he thought of the Republican candidates running for president,
Reid didn't pull any punches.
“I don't really care,” he said, when asked about the GOP field. “I think they're all losers."
Reid also had a choice description for his Senate archrival, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
“He comes from a coal state. I don’t mean to be mean spirited, but he is a lump of coal. He believes that coal is the salvation of the world. I don’t believe that.”
The interview was just the latest in a growing series of "Reid unplugged" spots.
CNN's Dana Bash recently pressed Reid about an unsubstantiated claim he made in 2012 that Mitt Romney didn't pay taxes for 10 years.
“No, I don’t regret that at all ... Romney didn’t win, did he?”
No, Senator, he did not.
