I can't remember a year like this one, as bad as this one. I've been feeling wiped out since I got home from the long weekend on Tuesday. My neighborhood is enveloped in an invisible fog of grass pollen.

I remember the first time I experienced hay fever. I was in the first grade. My family drove down to San Mateo from San Francisco and my brother and I went for a hay ride.
I eventually underwent years of desensitization shots that helped alleviate the symptoms. Now their protective effect seems to to have diminished significantly with increasing intensity of the pollen onslaught.
Having seasonal pollen allergies makes me one of Global Warming's early victims as it increases my misery and suffering significantly.
