I have just heard the full text of Donald Trumps response to NBC dumping him on MSNBC and it's a thing of beauty. I have been searching diligently for the full text, and will publish it in an update once I can find it, but in part he said;
“I think as far as ending the relationship, I have to do that because my view on immigration is much different than the people at NBC.”
"The Donald" had to end the relationship? I saw the NBC statement and there wasn't a peep in it about Trump contacting them to cancel everything cuz they were such wimps about immigration.
But the best part was when the Trumpster decided to channel Chris Christie! With a straight face, he avowed that NBC was dumping him because they has a deep case of the sadz that he wouldn't be doing "Celebrity Apprentice" with them this year cuz he had a new hobby, so out of spite, they're gonna tear all his pictures in two and strike his name from the annals for NBC. Just like Chris Christie saying straight faced that the people of New Jersey were soooooooooo upset with him running that they tanked his popularity in a desperate attempt to keep him back in Trenton cuffing them around for another few years...
Little wonder I have no ego, these buffoons stole all of it!!!
12:47 PM PT: I still haven't found the whole thing, but here's a little more from his statement in Chicago...
In response, Trump told reporters in Chicago on Monday that he's not apologizing for claiming some Mexican immigrants bring drugs and crime to the country. He says if his "strong stance" on immigration fuels NBC's decision, he's fine with it. He says he'll "probably" sue.
Trump also took a swipe at CEO Randy Falco's management style.
"Also, it's too bad you didn't have the courage to call me yourself instead of delegating the task to Beau," he wrote.
Pure class all the way, huh?
1:00 PM PT: More pearls of wisdom from the Trumpster.
"If NBC is so weak and so foolish to not understand the serious illegal immigration problem in the United States, coupled with the horrendous and unfair trade deals we are making with Mexico, then their contract violating closure of Miss Universe/Miss USA will be determined in court."
1:13 PM PT: Finally, the ego of Trump in all it's glorious peacock plumage;
"As long as I was running for president, they were not happy with it," Trump said. "They wanted me to do 'The Apprentice.' And now with my statements on immigration, which happen to be correct, they are going to take a different stance so that's OK. Whatever they want to do is OK with me... I think as far as ending the relationship, I have to do that, because my view on immigration is much different than the people at NBC."
