Something something, why are you guys not understanding that I want to be president?
Donald Trump is learning that when you actually ask to be taken seriously you are going to be taken, at the very least, a little more seriously than usual. NBC, following in
Univision's footsteps, severed ties with Donald yesterday. Today Trump said that whatever NBC wanted to do was "OK" with him but that he might have to sue them. Which sounds to me like it's "not OK" with him. Here's a quote from Donald Trump explaining how he loves Mexican people.
I have a great relationship with Mexico. How can I not love people that give me tens of millions for apartments, ya' have to love 'em.
Zing. Bang. Boom. Barf.
In Trump's defense he was trying to be funny. Here's what Donald Trump had to say about NBC:
"If NBC is so weak and so foolish to not understand the serious illegal immigration problem in the United States, coupled with the horrendous and unfair trade deals we are making with Mexico, then their contract violating closure of Miss Universe/Miss USA will be determined in court. Furthermore, they will stand behind lying Brian Williams, but won't stand behind people that tell it like it is, as unpleasant as that may be."
That's true. Any and all dealings with Donald Trump are usually going to end in the phrase "as unpleasant as that may be."
