Whoopee! Good ole Chris Christie came to bless our state with his fabulous wisdom and experience. Read the article from the Denver Channel here: http://www.thedenverchannel.com/...
This is some of the wonderful gems of wisdom he honored us with:
“If you’re getting high in Colorado today, enjoy it,” said New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, a Republican seeking the 2016 presidential nomination.
“As of January 2017, I will enforce the federal laws,” Bloomberg quoted Gov. Christie as telling a crowd in New Hampshire Tuesday.
"See if you want to live in a major city in Colorado where there's head shops popping up on every corner and people flying into your airport just to come and get high. To me, it's just not the quality of life we want to have here in the state of New Jersey," Christie said, according to KMBC.com.
Governor Hickenlooper defended the quality of life in Colorado with some very clear statistics about life in Colorado and life in New Jersey:
America’s Top States for Business
# 7 Colorado
#42 New Jersey
The Best State for Business and Careers
#5 Colorado
#32 New Jersey
Is your state creating jobs and economic growth?
#14 in economic performance, Colorado
#33 in economic performance, New Jersey
#2 for innovation and entrepreneurship, Colorado
#14 for innovation and entrepreneurship, New Jersey
#8 for business climate, Colorado
#49 for business climate, New Jersey
It takes a lot of nerve to come into our state and tell us about our quality of life. He has so mishandled his own state and has not earned the right to tell us what we should be doing here. He has just lost the votes of the whole 4:20 movement, medical marijuana users and others that feel that marijuana should have been legalized years ago.
He does not know who he is dealing with. Coloradoans like our lifestyle for the most part and we like the financial lift that marijuana has brought to our state. Hint to Christie, stop listening to yourself and start listening to the people who will or will not voter for you.
