The assault on every woman's right to own and control her own body should be reason enough to enact and place legal restraints against religious fanatics that populate mostly the "conservative" movement's shell company aka as the GOP, but it is not.
Not with the war on women having proven such a vital and lucrative part of the campaign of fear employed by the big intrusive republican machine to not only fleece the constituents of their money but to keep them uniformed enough to miss the actual corporate agenda at the core. An agenda having little to do with anything social or religious as the 'bottom line'.
Religious fanatics like Mike Huckabee, much like the Taliban on the other hand, do care about "social issues". Or rather, they care about the power over others and the sanctimonious shield from chastisement for their own sins it affords them.
In all their actions can be seen that at the heart of Huckabee or a Rick Santorum nut job lies the motivation to secure the "legal" right to foist themselves upon women.
These assholes have found their place as part of the smokescreen made up of wedge issues designed to, (among other divisive divide and conquer type strategies Scott Walker promised one of his rich donors), insulate the "conservative" movement's corporate leadership and agenda from the view of the public.

A good thing happening these days though is that people are wising up about these zealots. The religious indoctrination is hitting a wall of reality. Reality like contraceptives, privacy, free choice, or Not being forced to give birth, especially from rape.
That sort of reality
Religious fanatics at some point, usually lose control of themselves and over-reach giving the people a look at the ugly truth behind the religious façade. The people are growing more aware of the problem these religious fanatics present to a free society.
But that does not mean that the aggression by the religious right hasn't done great harm. Their tactics are ruthless and have put a serious burden on women and their right to self determination and privacy. The religious extremists have had too much success closing down women's health clinics around the country.

Rachel Maddow has and her team have covered much of the republican assault on women and tactics of oppression in this series of videos posted by Kossack JGibson in 2013.
Women's health Clinics forced to close with unconstitutional TRAP laws
This assault on women by the right-wing party goes way back:
A Decade-Long Campaign of Illegal Harassment Against Planned Parenthood
But the tactics are becoming even more deceitful and dangerous. Republicans, lacking an agenda they can tell the truth about and if they did, a majority of people reject out right, have embraced this assault on women as a core plank in their platform for 2016. They call it "protecting life"
Absolute bullshit is what that is
State-level Republicans eagerly embrace their latest bogus excuse to attack Planned Parenthood
To what depth the party of pious puritans will sink is hard to know. Like Donald Trump, they have no governor. No moral compass. No guiding principles that aren't allowed them from the $tring pullers who have for years being using and manipulating the Huckabee's of the world via their own religious vice they are unable to resist.
This is a dissection of how the rwnj's have attempted to deceive people:
How the Video Attacking Planned Parenthood Was Deceptively Edited
Here is Joe Scarborough defending the indefensible and attacking a woman telling the truth of it:
Joe Scarborough Relies On Deceptively Edited Videos To Attack Elizabeth Warren's Defense Of Planned Parenthood
Here is the woman addressing that dishonest Scarborough (R) attack:
I've watched the morals of the GOP disintegrate over the years. The disintegration accelerated when the first AA was elected president, but that acceleration was nothing compared to speed of the nosedive after the re-election of President Obama. The hate, palpable.
Even with that in mind, what the republican party has chosen to do for political power gain is to deceive the American people in the most heinous way. Accusing Planned parenthood of killing dismembering and selling the remains for profit. Why would the republican need to smear so much hate? Why this level of dishonestly for an assault on women that has become second nature to them by now. Or first nature actually? Why this desperate ramping up now? 2016 elections?
Maybe the answer is somewhere else. The rwnj's absolute prohibition of stem cell research as a major plank in the "conservative" platform. Research that has proven potentilal for discovering and developing cures to the worlds deadliest diseases.(?)
Over the fold are links to the MAYO Clinic. Another aspect to the assault on women and women's health clinics that is less talked about.
How many lives could be saved, but will not as a direct result of these religious fanatics? These are the real "deaths panels" that statistics indicate will actually cost lives.
• Cancer
• Spinal cord injuries.
• Parkinson's disease.
• Type 1 diabetes.
• Heart disease.
• Strokes.
• Burns.
• Osteoarthritis.
• Alzheimer's disease.
By forcing their religious zealotry labeled as "religious freedom" onto others and making laws to further limit life saving research, this latest politically convenient attack on Planned Parenthood is going to cause more people to suffer needlessly and die of treatable diseases.
This attack financed and orchestrated at the top of the "conservative" movement and put into play by the mouthpieces like a bible thumping Mike Huckabee type is deliberate, and of the lowest form of human behavior I can think of, ranking right down there with the killing we've been witnessing around the world from similar religiously motivated groups of fanatics

The Mayo Clinic has very good information on stem cell research and the benefits that flow from that research

GOP: the party of pro-life?
- Not even close.
When the lust for power to control and indoctrinate other people trumps preserving life and hypocrisy is the preferred way to hide truth, I'd say deep cowardice and real fear of the American people realizing that preserving life at any age is near the bottom of the neo-con's MIC funded GOP's actual concerns, especially with those proclaiming it most loudly - the religious nut-jobs aka the republican base
- Kudos Elizabeth Warren for telling it like it is
