This from Fox News which tried to put a positive spin on this. The other networks weren't so generous.
Bush's poll numbers have drastically declined from the 1st debate: this despite getting softball questions (as opposed to, say, the Donald Dumptruck which Fox desperately tried to derail). His SuperPAC is flush with cash, yes, but JEB! is flailing. No energy, no grassroots support, and flub after flub this early in the campaign.
No GOP primary winner has been this low in the polls at this point in the campaign, and this latest news that all three of his top fundraisers JUST BAILED:
Three top Jeb Bush fundraisers abruptly parted ways with his presidential campaign on Friday, amid internal personality conflicts and questions about the strength of his candidacy, POLITICO has learned.
Jeb is trying damage control and went on Fox News to say everything is A-OK! Of course, he has to do this during the 10th anniversary of Katrina. JEB! cannot criticize his idiot brother, so of course he DEFENDED W's infamously botched response.
The "reporter" also defended W's awful handling of Katrina to Brett B because of course he did. Yet no amount of spinning can stop this trainwreck. JEB! might still pull this one out because he is the Establishment favorite, and the Establishment ALWAYS wins... but they've never had such a harder time than with Bush III.
Maybe, just maybe, a third Bush is too much to ask even of the knuckle-dragging GOP electorate. Maybe.
