"I love you, Chelsea."
"I love you, too. But are we sure my idiot coworker I barely know doesn't have better insight into our allegedly sinful relationship?"
"You're right. Let's break up and go meet guys at Ikea."
Trigger warning for bigots with persecution complexes.
There's a serious problem in this country.
Apparently, you can't keep harassing lesbian coworkers with anti-gay propaganda and not expect to be fired.
Chris Routson of Monroe, Ohio had to be the sacrificial lamb in this case. After Facebook friending and subsequent proselytizing anti-LGBT movie "Audacity" to his lesbian coworker, he was told this was inappropriate workplace behavior.
Naturally, two days later, he was busted again for preaching the gospel at work and was sent home and subsequently let go two days later.
He has since set up a GoFundMe page requesting prayers and, oh yeah, money.
According to GoFundMe, "Campaigns in defense of formal charges or claims of heinous crimes, violent, hateful, sexual or discriminatory acts" are not allowed. Therefore, it violates the terms and services.
I know what you're thinking: This man has suffered enough! Give him his money and free prayers so he can go about his day, sharing 2015 movies equivalent of 1950's "educational" scare films! But we live in a society of rules, and sadly, this man has once again broken them.
Inevitably, there will always be supporters of idiots like him. But let's take this sucker down so he'll at least have to work harder to find aforementioned supporters.
While I'm sure that this will get taken down, I'd love for it to be due to the DK community. Here's a direct link to report his campaign.
There's no word on if taking the page down will result in loss of prayers.
Thanks a bunch and have a gay ol' day! :)
