It's old news by now but a school teacher tells a 4 year old that being left handed is "evil". A county clerk in Kentucky says her religious views are more important than the law. A political candidate says that no Muslim should ever serve as president of the USA.
This same candidate, by the way, says that science is a mythology! I guess, then, that he has a 'mythological' doctor's degree.
Everywhere you turn, someone is saying that their religious belief won't let them help someone because they are different. Companies, with the blessing of the Supreme Court, are blatantly discriminating, not only against their customers, but their own employees.
It will be a cold day in the USA....excuse me, I mean Hell, when I let one cent of my money go to Hobby Lobby. There are many other companies with the same attitudes but the list is too long for here.
When I look at my friends and acquaintances and compare the religious to the non-religious, I constantly find the bigotry and hatred in the religious group while those of no faith are far more compassionate about their fellow man. If this is what religion does to one, then I will live my life loving my fellow humans without the obligation to worship a demanding and hateful god.
