Indiana State House Majority Leader Rep. Jud McMillin (R) has abruptly quit. He contacted several people via text message last week, claiming his cell phone had been stolen in Canada, and out of his control for 24 hours. He said he had been able to reactivate it under his control, and to disregard messages that may have been received.
And while he nor (House Speaker) Brian Bosma (R) identified what might have been "offensive", the Indianapolis Business Journal reported there was at least 1 sexually-explicit video.
No one has said who was in the video.....but, IMO, if it wasn't him (and it was obvious that it wasn't), why resign? If his phone was truly stolen, who would question that?
He said upon resigning that "the time is right for me to pass the torch and spend more time with my family. Now I want to focus all of my attention on making my family’s world a better place”.
