I actually like what they both have to say. I don't believe any of the conspiracy theories about Hillary from the right or anyone else. She was a good Secretary of State. I've listened to Bernie on talk radio shows for something like 15 years -- he is spot on, on every issue -- his thinking on key social issues is clearer and more cogent than my own.
Why does everything in our society have to be adversarial and exclusive? I don't even like the concept of a president. I'd prefer a parliament.
And what happened to open comment threads? I don't have a whole diary in me today. If I did, I'd go on about the evils of monopolies and Robert Reich's new book.
Somehow, in my weariness, I suspect that the remaining clear-thinking Americans are starting to converge on a consensus about how screwed up our economic, political, and legal systems are.
