Received this e-mail today from Russ Feingold's (D. WI) U.S. Senate campaign:
Here's the simple truth about the secretive Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal: Just like NAFTA, the TPP prioritizes corporate profits at the expense of American jobs. It's another raw deal for American workers, and we can't let it happen again.
That's why I'm proudly standing with American workers against the TPP. Will you join me?

It's one thing to say you support American workers, but it's another thing to act on it.
Just look at my likely opponent, Senator Ron Johnson. Last week, Senator Johnson made a couple stops in Wisconsin, claiming to support manufacturing jobs. But while Senator Johnson paid lip service to supporting Wisconsin's workers, a deal was reached on the secretive, job-killing Trans-Pacific Partnership.
And, no surprise -- it's a deal that Senator Johnson supports, even while he's touring manufacturing plants and saying he supports Wisconsin jobs.
I wasn't fooled by past trade agreements, like NAFTA, and I won't be fooled by another job-killing agreement like the TPP.
Wisconsin's workers need a different voice in Washington -- a senator who will listen and act to support American workers and families. Senator Johnson has done neither, and that just won't cut it.
Add your name in support of American workers and against the TPP today.

Senator Johnson supports the TPP because it's a corporate wish list -- and huge corporations are exactly what he's interested in representing. I couldn't disagree more -- I believe a senator should represent the people and the needs of working families, and I hope you join me in standing up against this raw deal.
Thank you for your support,
Sincerely,
Russ
