In the wake of more than 130 settler attacks against Palestinians in one week, the aerial bombing deaths of Nour Hassan, a young pregnant mother and her two-year-old daughter, the summary executions of two other young women by Israeli police, the "accidental" shooting in the back that killed 13-year-old Abed Obeidallah in Bethlehem, the deliberate killing of two other boys during a protest in Khan Younis, and what's Hillary Clinton's response? As reported by the Huffington Post, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, the Times of Israel, Jewish Insider and elsewhere:
I am alarmed by the recent wave of attacks against Israelis, including more than a dozen separate attacks since last Saturday. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families. Men and women living in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and elsewhere cannot carry groceries or travel to prayer without looking over their shoulder. It is wrong, and it must stop. There's no place for violence--only dialogue can produce a lasting peace.
No expression of concern for Palestinians, no mention of what it's like under the Occupation, where kids and moms get shot without justification, where Israel shuts off the heat and power for 12-18 hours at a time, where virtually none of the housing or infrastructure has been rebuilt since the 50-day bombing campaign and massacre a year ago, where settlers wantonly attack Palestinians with the support of the IDF, destroy their orchards and confiscate their lands, and Hillary Clinton is alarmed that Israelis in their condos in Tel Aviv are worried about those Arab teenagers rebelling against a half-century of Occupation?
"There's no place for violence", she says, meaning stone-throwing kids as opposed to the US-supplied IDF dropping 2000 lb. bombs on a captive and defenseless population. This is a woman with no conscience, beholden to Wall St. donors and obviously, the Israel Lobby. We can count on her continued support of Netanyahu and the Israeli right-wing, allowing the long drawn-out ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians to continue unabated.
