I wanted to share a really positive, upbeat diary today. If I write about last night, the focus is going to be how – if the old bat shines her flashlight into my eyes repeatedly again any night soon, one of the PADS client is going to eat her flashlight.
So, rather than staying there, I’m going to share some photos.
This is Nietzsche just after he’s found the scent in the carton. When he has his paw like that, he’s counting how many seconds until I feed him… if I take too long, he’ll start to scratch the top of the carton. Notice the tongue. A lot of dogs lick the air (or the tin, if available) around the scent. Nietzsche doesn’t do it a lot, but when he does, his big tongue is pretty obvious.
This is a dog you don’t want to cross, without his consent. I’m not certain why he’s looking so protective here, but in a couple of minutes, he’s much happier (ok, and also getting treats.)
This is the same dog that minutes from now will ignore the scent.
Nietzsche spent the Exterior search munching on grass. Made some cute photos that looked like he was sniffing — but he was doing anything except that.
I’m going to head over to a friend’s soon — I had my newly ordered clothes shipped to her address. Time to pick them up — before leaving for Ohio.
I’ll try to post from Ohio a couple of times. I won’t be back in town until Monday night — i won’t be back online at home until Tuesday at the earliest.
Have a great day!!
