I live in Ohio. Tamir Rice and John Crawford are just two of the ghosts that haunt our hearts. Then I read about the antics of the Bundy vandals, and see how they haven’t had much more than a shake of the head and a wink from law enforcement, and I grow increasingly frustrated. I also wonder what I can do about it.
Can I stop them?

As I’m stepping into Senior Citzenhood, I have realized the power that comes with being a woman of a certain age. I can made a five year old stop in her tracks with a single word. I can make a swearing teen blush with a single look. My mere presence makes men give up their seat on the bus. I am mighty!
--And only half joking.
What if we were to organize a group of grannies from around the country to take out the big ol’ gun toting snackers?
A cursory look at Oregon’s statutes makes me think that we would have every right to make citizen’s arrests of the whole lot of them.
Just imagine: A couple hundred angry AARP card-carrying women, locked arm-in-arm, to surround and detain a couple dozen felons? I think we could do it.
They want our lands? Our public lands? Grab your extra big purses, put on your sensible shoes, and lets go stop them!
