The great Charlie Pierce has a thing or two to say about last night’s Washington Post anti-Bernie Sanders editorial. When I first looked at the WaPo piece, my snap response was that it was point-and-laugh-worthy, though in ways that aren’t exactly calculated to make anyone feel good about the state of our mainstream political discourse. It’s nice to see that Mr. Pierce has done the hard work of pointing and laughing for us, so that all I need to do is link it so interested parties here don’t miss it.
