My evenings here at The Great Orange Satan are incomplete unless a seemingly frivolous question rolls down the “recent diaries” and, occasionally, the wreck list; questions that usually have the effect of a shoulder massage after a long day at work. The questions (more often than not) pertain to entertainment or food or pretty much anything to take the mind away from what Hillary or Bernie is saying or doing or the latest zombie troll to show up or the latest GBCW diary.
Seemingly frivolous but, in reality, they are anything but frivilous.
It’s...BF Skinner time.
Sure enough, last night, around 9:30 or so, just as I was (probably) about to get HR’d and to tell someone to go to a very hot place, here comes BFSkinner, just out of the hospital, curled up with his cats...in pain, but OK.
And it always helps to put all the rox/sux stuff in perspective.
I always read BFSkinner’s latest installment of That’s Entertainment. I usually don’t comment.
But it’s good to know that it’s there.
And it’s good to know that my fellow Detroiter (and Michigan Wolverine fan) BFSkinner is well.
BFSkinner, Daily Kos, and Social Security
BFSkinner, Daily Kos member since 2008, has posted over 900 DK stories. In addition to his That’s Entertainment stories, a number of his other stories describe his struggles with illnesses and with the Social Security Administration, which has delayed processing his just claim for disability benefits many times.
His most recent SS hearing was scheduled for January 12th. However, on the day before that appointment, he was notified that the hearing would be delayed for another 90 days. Not that benefit payments would be delayed, but the hearing on whether he would be eligible for benefits had been further delayed, in part because his lawyer became very sick and had to be hospitalized.
