I live in the most liberal county in the state, Johnson County, the home of the University of Iowa. I am a Hillary Supporter, probably a minority in this county, and was in 2008 when this county went hard for Obama. It may seem like Deja vu all again for Hillary, but this time, I believe Hillary will win. Why you ask? In 2008, Obama had a majority of support from Iowa Democratic legislators. However, this time the legislators almost unanimously support Hillary. Hillary won the rural areas of Iowa against Obama in 2008 and am pretty sure that the rural areas are not that receptive to Sen. Sanders’ policies, even more so than Obama. Bernie is going to rack up larg numbers of supporters in the college counties, Johnson and Story, and Polk. The rules of the Democratic caucus favor the most organized, and Bernie is no where near organized as Obama. If Iowa were a primary, I think Bernie could have pulled it out. However, I believe that Sanders won't get the Urban vote that Obama did and will be routed more than Obama in rural Iowa. Therefore, I predict Hillary 55-45.
