Quick disclaimer: This is intended to be a safe haven for Hillary Clinton supporters. While anyone can come and post here, we ask that any non-Clinton supporters be civil towards the rest of us, and we’ll do our best to reciprocate.
This has been a really good week for Hillary Clinton, and now a weekend lies between us and the Iowa caucus. Finally!! I feel optimistic, though with some anxiety about the Selzer poll, which is due to be published 3:45 PST/6:45 EST.
A lot of beautiful and just plain “hell yeah!” (or #HillYes) pieces have been written this week about Hillary Clinton, on DailyKos and across the Internet. Many of those pieces are highlighted in Lysis’s News & Views diaries, and can be read at the Hillary Writers Circle. Some examples include:
First Amendment: 102 Year Old Iowan Wants To Help Hillary Become President!
Scan: American Women Have Waited 227 Years For a Female President… And It’s Time For the Wait to Be Over
hardart: With Joy!! Powerful Endorsement for Hillary from Joan Walsh
Really, it’s been almost an embarrassment of riches, as many Hillary Clinton supporters have worked overtime this week to produce great diaries. You can also find diaries at #HillaryClinton and other related hash tags, including:
Contenius: Iowa Press-Citizen Endorses Clinton
First Amendment: Lilly Ledbetter endorses Hillary Clinton for President!
NewYorkerForLife: “I Could See Her Eyes Water. She Cared.”
TobyRocksSoHard: Hillary’s OTHER Powerful Closing Ad in Iowa
Catskill Julie: The real Hillary stands up
fivefouranonymous: This Time, I’m With Her!
OllieGarkey: As an Occupy Wall Street Democrat, I Support Hillary. She’s the Strongest By Far on Wall Street Reform.
There’s been so much great stuff this week, and what I’ve listed doesn’t begin to cover it. Also, there are cases where multiple diaries cover the same topic. I usually just choose one (try to make it the first diary on the subject) to link to since all would be too difficult… but that doesn’t mean the others aren’t just as worth reading.
And I, for one, am looking forward to Scan’s updates on the ground in Iowa:
I realize that next week marks the point where things heat up, and the actual voting starts. But for me, it feels like things are winding down. For months and months, there have been so many ups and downs, thrills about great debates and anxiety about yet another bullshit email story. Endless breathless concern trolling from the press, for which there is no story too small to blow up, no story too positive to find a negative angle. It’s amazing Hillary Clinton is still in such great shape. But then, she’s always been amazing.
This is your open thread.

Update 4: Though it’s hardly a secret (given the FP story at the top as I write), the Selzer poll came out, and it has Hillary up by 3%, a slight improvement over her last showing. I sensed she would still be ahead, and am relieved to have it confirmed. #HillYes
The breakdown can be read in this article. Key takeaways: Hillary leads in enthusiasm, 73 to 69, and her definite voter percentage went from 69% earlier this month to 83%. Excellent!
