From the article:
“Since ADA’s beginnings over 68 years ago, we have fought for the political system that we as a nation should have,” noted ADA National Director Don Kusler. “Bernie, his policies, and the movement forming around them embody the spirit and tradition of ADA’s long struggle for justice and offer our best hope for a progressive future.”
The ADA is 65,000 members strong nationwide and “voted overwhelmingly” to endorse Bernie Sanders for president.
I apologize if this has already been posted, but I looked through recent diaries and didn’t see it, so thought I’d share. This organization has a pretty impressive history, including founding members such as Eleanor Roosevelt and former Vice President Hubert Humphrey.
An impressive endorsement, indeed! Go, Bernie, Go!
