For what it’s worth, Bing’s final projections for the Iowa Caucuses show Hillary winning the Democratic Caucus with 53% share of the vote and Trump winning the Republican Caucus with 44% share of the vote. Let’s see if this holds up.
This is shaping up to be another big test for man vs computer in the political predictions arena. In it’s debut into U.S. politics, Microsoft’s Bing bested Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight in accurately predicting outcomes for the 2014 U.S. Midterm Elections. Prior to that Bing made waves by accurately forecasting the No Vote in the Scotland Referendum when almost everyone else in the media missed it.
This is the first presidential election test for Bing. Let’s see if the technology holds up to scrutiny…
