See the Saturday Open Thread for any diaries you might have missed.
Disclaimer: This is intended to be a safe haven for Hillary Clinton supporters. While anyone can come and post here, we ask that any non-Clinton supporters be civil towards the rest of us, and we’ll do our best to reciprocate.
Like yesterday, I’m going to make an appeal to my fellow Clinton supporters. If you never donated to Hillary Clinton, make now the first time. If you’ve already donated, donate some more. It seems some people only view monetary donations as a sign of enthusiasm. While I could argue that it’s possible to feel incredibly enthusiastic without having the means to donate, too many in the media will report this limited view dutifully, without bothering to examine it. So let’s show our enthusiasm by donating to Hillary Clinton.
So right now, I’m posting this diary at the same time as have in the past. However, I’d like to get a consensus as to when would be the best time to release these diaries. If you could go to the Saturday Open thread to vote, I’d appreciate it.
Meanwhile, we had some good diaries on Saturday, despite all the toxic mud around them.
bahaba: Al Franken Passes the Wellstone Torch to Hillary
Maracat: Why Hillary supporters are so concerned about party unity…
FDRDemocrat: Hillary Closing Gap in New Hampshire
Looking ahead to the New Hampshire primary, I’ll just reiterate that I don’t doubt Bernie Sanders will win, and that my greatest hope is that Hillary makes it closer than it would have been otherwise and splits, or comes close to splitting, the delegates. Then it’s on to Nevada!
In the meantime, let’s all join together to laugh at Marco Rubio, shall we? I know some people worry that he could be a formidable General Election threat, and maybe he would be the toughest candidate to beat. But I just can’t view him as a dangerous obstacle when he does this:
I don’t want to make assumptions, but I just can’t see Hillary Clinton not defeating him in the General Election.
