The City of Cleveland has decided that Tamir Rice’s estate is in arrears, to the tune of $500, for services rendered transporting Tamir to the hospital.
After all, the police officer who executed him was cleared, so it must of been Rice’s responsibility that he was shot and mortally wounded at the age of twelve.
Why yes, yes, that makes perfect sense. Others seem to agree...
The City of Cleveland filed a creditor's claim against the estate of Tamir Rice, the black 12-year old who was fatally shot by police in 2014, for not paying emergency medical service fees,CleveScene reported Wednesday.
The $500 fee is "owing for emergency medical services rendered as the decedent's last dying expense under Ohio Revised Code," according to the report.
