There was something different about Hillary’s speech tonight. It was powerful, it was riveting, it spoke to the nation’s conscience.
I am hardly moved to tears by a politician, but Hillary had me tearing up at points throughout her speech — especially in the closing moments when she recalled the names of the mothers of the young black men who lost their lives due to racial injustice in America.
This is the Hillary that critics don’t want to acknowledge. But this is the Hillary that core supporters always knew existed. A woman with strong conviction, who understands the pain of some of the most vulnerable in society.
Hillary has found her voice and America is listening.
