We all knew that Hillary Clinton would beat Bernie Sanders by a double-digit margin, but no one anticipated the margin being nearly 48 points! Well, no one except the ones behind the Clemson University Palmetto Poll.
It looks like a great harbinger for Hillary Clinton and a not-so-great one for Bernie Sanders:
Naturally, there’s been a lot of celebrating around here. It wouldn’t be good to gloat, and the race is certainly far from over, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have some fun after a really tense couple of months. Can’t wait for Tuesday!

As usual, there’s the obligatory donation request, along with encouragement to check out the HillaryClinton.com store. (I’m eyeing one of the mugs.) It sounds like Hillary’s small donor base is growing rapidly, having reached 850,000. Let’s push it to one million or more!
Finally, a brief note about how I do these Open Thread diaries: Because I live on the West Coast, I write the diaries the night before, usually after 10 pm PST, and schedule them to be published around 8:30 am EST. As I’ve mentioned in the past, my plan to do so every weekend until the Democratic nominee is chosen, unless I give notice otherwise. If anyone wants to take the open thread baton for a weekend day, that would be fine, but I’d appreciate a head’s up the evening before. If you want to check if I have a diary scheduled, I think you can look at the queue for Hillary Writers Circle or Open Threads and Live Blogs.
This is your open thread.
