Not much has been made of Candidate Clinton’s calls for a serious increase in the U.S. War efforts, in Syria. This is a mistake, given how much the country has ‘enjoyed’ our endless War efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan, and elsewhere. Elections have Consequences. Wars do too.

Hillary Clinton calls for more ground troops as part of hawkish Isis strategy
‘Our goal is not to deter or contain Isis, our goal is to defeat and destroy Isis’, Clinton said

Hillary Clinton distanced herself from Barack Obama’s strategy for defeating Islamic State extremists on Thursday in a sweeping foreign policy speech that called for greater use of American ground troops and an intensified air campaign.

“The United States has been conducting this fight for more than a year; it’s time to be begin a new phase and intensify and broaden our efforts,” Clinton told the Council on Foreign Relations in New York.

She called on Silicon Valley to stop viewing the US government “as the enemy” and urged the tech industry to design encryption tools that can balance privacy and yet still allow for state surveillance.
Taking questions afterward, Clinton said her speech called for an “intensification and acceleration” of the Obama strategy, rather than a major change to it.
What’s so bad about that? ISIS is bad news — someone needs to DO something about them.
Well as this next analysis explains, for one thing a No Fly Zone “requires at least 70,000 ground troops to set up a No Fly Zone.” Worse yet, a No Fly Zone could lead to WWIII — since Putin is already there fighting ISIS, because ISIS shot down one of his country’s Airliners [as stated by the video analysis, below].
Mistakenly, or otherwise, shooting down one of Russians warplanes in a U.S. No Fly Zone over Syria would not be treated lightly. Or simply shrugged away … like might happen with a third world country.

Hillary Clinton distanced herself from Barack Obama’s strategy for defeating Islamic State extremists on Thursday in a sweeping foreign policy speech that called for greater use of American ground troops and an intensified air campaign.
Though ruling out deploying the tens of thousands of US troops seen in Iraq and Afghanistan, the former of secretary of state made clear she would take a notably more hawkish approach than the current administration if she is elected president...
Be careful what you wish for, war-weary Americans.
Elections have Consequences. Wars do too.
Some Wars even end up “creating” worse enemies — than those you started out with. More dedicated terrorists too.
Bombing people and villages, as a matter of policy, tends to have an adverse effect on those who somehow manage to survive. That’s why it’s called a “slippery slope” — such 1-Dimensional policies of going “all out” to “eradicate the ‘bad guys’.”

There have also been reports of civilians killed by Russian air strikes in Syria and US strikes in Iraq. Mr Cameron has said that Britain's Brimstone missiles are so precise they will be able to avoid civilian casualties.
However, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights warns that IS fighters [Islamic State] are living "almost totally" among civilians, meaning that avoiding civilian casualties will also depend on good intelligence.
