I am a retired school teacher from Illinois. I have voted for Democrats in every election since I became eligible to vote but I am currently so disgusted with the Democratic party that I would not support it in the next election if the candidate is Hillary Clinton. First of all, the bias set by the scheduling of the debates and clear favoritism towards Hillary by the DNC strike me as dirty politics against one of their own. Any politician worth endorsing, should be able to stand up against the competition on the merit of their ideas and character, instead of resorting to rigging the system in their favor.
Secondly, we are on the cusp of a political revolution. The millionaires are running our country and we are no longer a true democracy. Electing a candidate that is funded by big banks and big pharma will not change the road to destruction from which our country is now headed. Bernie comes up with solutions to our countries biggest problems, then Hillary dismisses them or parrots them. But whatever she says, I can’t trust her to be telling the truth. I feel she would say anything to get elected. It is a matter of character. We can watch tape after tape of Hillary saying one thing and then saying the opposite a few years later.
Bernie represents my political views on almost every subject, from healthcare to spirituality. I see him as a good, kind man who truly represents the will of the people. I do not see Hillary as a good, kind woman who is out to change the system. Don’t ask me to tell you what I like about her, because I see her as part of the problem.
