Prospectus Air DnC
Executive Summary
With increasing obstacles being set in the paths of women seeking abortion services in the U.S., we are offering a new model of pregnancy termination based on traditional artisinal methods and powered by direct peer-to-peer technology. Using our Dirty Handshake app, women will be able to connect directly to providers offering services in private homes and offices, out of the eye of intrusive regulators and inspectors.
Though abortion remains technically legal, many states have placed so many restrictions on providers that the procedure has become financially and logistically impossible for many women to obtain. At Air DnC, we've conceived a new model, one that returns the delicate and occasionally risky procedure to the unlicensed and uninspected homes and commercial spaces where women went to terminate their pregnancies in simpler times.
Using the Air DnC app, women can simply look up unlicensed providers in their area and walk in to the closest "clinic." Based on other successful P2P services like Air BnB and Uber, Air DnC allows women to retain control of their own choices, while freeing providers from the onerous requirements of training, licensing and so-called "best practices" like actual medical equipment, sterile environments and consideration for women's health.
Customers and providers will negotiate their own prices and payment arrangements. Air DnC charges only a small fee for our Dirty Handshake.
We see our growth potential as quite promising as more and more states make it next to impossible for women to obtain safe, legal abortion. In fact, if current trends continue, we predict that all abortion in the United States could eventually be enabled through our service.
