Hot off the presses is a new poll of New York from Monmouth University and its all good news for Hillary Clinton who is up 51-39 or 12 points over Bernie Sanders in the great state of New York. The normal demographic breakouts continue to heavily favor Clinton while she is slightly ahead by non-Hispanic whites by 48-46%. From a geographical standpoint, Clinton leads in all parts of the state although Bernie performs somewhat better outside of New York City.
This is now the third poll in the past week to show Clinton with a double digit lead in New York including the Fox News poll yesteday showing her up 16 and Emerson up 18. Averaging these 3 polls gives her about a 15 point lead with just a week to go until the primary.
It looks like Bernie’s winning streak in mostly caucuses over the past couple of weeks is about to be halted and halted in a big way in the Big Apple!
