Cats I have known, over the years. Shall I talk about Teddie and Marvin? Or Lovely Rose? RIP, Or Louis, who I wrote diaries about here in 2003, when he got lost and found again, after a whole summer of being lost? Or Pooky, who I still mourn to this day? (passed in 1999) He was an orange kitty with a big pink nose with about 1000 black freckles on it. I tried to count them a lot of times. Sometimes I would come up with 17 or 18 or 21 or — whatever. I adored him. When he died, I had him cremated, and got a little magnificent urn for him. It’s still there in the living room, next to his picture.
Point is, we love our kitties. If I was more tech savvy, I would post pics of the other kitties besides Teddie and Marvin.
They stay forever in our hearts, and if anybody wants to give me some tech tips how to post pictures in the body of a diary, I am ready to listen.
Teddy is a little stout and blocky, and very mellow and intelligent. Marvin is………...not one brain cell firing — just bouncing off walls all the time — ping, ping, ping. I have taken to brushing him each morning — well, he likes that attention, but you know, he’s not sure he likes BRUSHING. It requires him to hold still for too long. Ping, ping, ping. Absolutely brainless, joyful fun, always.
Teddy puts up with this with admirable patience.
Happy Friday. Tell me about your kitties. And tell me how to embed a picture in the text of a diary.
Thanks. I will be waiting for stories.
Love, Rose
