I have to admit I have mixed feelings about the great Kosmail. It is not as “user friendly” as I need since I am not very smart… It took me a bit of time to learn how to find messages that were specifically targeted to me versus mail that were being sent to groups that I belonged to or the like.
Now I know that when it says I have a message I just have a message that is meant for me myself… and if I click on messages it somehow via the magic of Kos floats to the top of the message list and I click on it and there is my message.
I also know (or so far as I have been able to figure out) there is no way to cc a message, so if I wanted to send a carbon copy to a second person I’d have to basically send a copy of the original message to him/her. (Unless I am wrong?)
So it got me thinking...how many people actually use their Kosmail? I do because I try to stay in contact with friends on here… people whose “real life” id’s I do not know but I know them from GOS only… or for example I know someone on Facebook and they ask me to pass a message to someone on GoS (Like the other day there was a technical problem with getting a group diary up and a person could not log on to their KOS account, so I kosmailed the co-group member for them to let them know the message, etc.).
Anyway, it got me thinking.. how many of us actually use Kosmail?
