Regardless of what happens moving forward, some impressive stats Bernie racked tonight in Indiana, despite only getting 26% of Black vote:
50% of Women Voters
53% of People of Color under 45
56% of People of Color, not Black(Hispanic, Asian, Native American & Rest)
68% of all Voters under 45
78% of White voters under 45
In Indianapolis, with an electorate 54% Black , 10% Hispanic (at least 66% non-White), with 98% of the vote in, he’s down 49.6%-50.4%. That’s just damn impressive.
Regardless of what pundits have been saying, the Bernie political revolution has brought together a diverse coalition of voters and is being propelled by the young. As a young person, I am excited about the future of left politics in this country.
