Looks like the DNC candidate may have more trouble than we thought in the general election. Trump is using Hillary’s classic position-changing strategy to pivot away from his harsh stances. Some republicans are flocking to Clinton right now, as they feel their conservative principles will be better protected and served by her, but there’s also some support for Trump coming through, as he meets with other conservatives, and gets more support from big money donors, with whom Clinton has already established her bond.
Now that Trump is going to start getting more money, he could maintain this stability he has established despite all of his supposed ‘mistakes.’ He is turning into a politician just in time to give people an alternative to Clinton, so he’s going to have a base no matter what. He would be even more successful so far, were it not for the liberal bias in places like facebook, where we’ve seen conservative topics being suppressed.
Clinton has deep negatives, so that helps. Trump has even deeper negatives, but he has a populist appeal. If he keeps bringing his platform to the center and eventually to the left of Clinton in some rare occasions, we may be able to bring this country back.
