Just a quick note, but the Hillary campaign just sent me this email:
Unabogie, because of you, I am going to be the Democratic nominee for President of the United States.
And that means it's time to steel ourselves for the general election and a race against Donald Trump.
In moments like this, I think about some advice from my mom: Everybody gets knocked down in life. The real test is whether you get back up and keep going.
He's going to come after us with everything he's got. I need you with me now more than ever -- chip in $75 and let me know you're by my side:
Now, I know this will upset some people, but she’s right. Of the remaining delegates, she needs to only win 10% of them. She has won. Bernie has lost. She is the nominee.
And yes, I’m counting Superdelegates because those are the rules.
Frankly, it’s good to see that she’s moving on to the general election because quite frankly, it is unthinkable that Democrats would give up a chance to replace Scalia and Kennedy with two liberals, not to mention picking a replacement should Ginsberg step down. It’s unthinkable to me that the ACA could be repealed and 20 million Americans could lose their insurance in one fell swoop. It’s unthinkable to me that we elect a president who promises to kill the wives and children of suspected terrorists and to bring back waterboarding and “worse”. It’s unthinkable to me that we would elect a man whose attitude towards women, including his own daughter, is that they are basically only good for sex. It’s unthinkable to me that we’d elect a man who promises to ban Muslims and deport every undocumented worker. It’s unthinkable to me that we’d elect a man who would use nukes and destroy our credit as a nation.
So I say, brava Secretary Clinton. Welcome to the big show.
