More like throwing tantrums. After the Nevada convention it was disgusting to read comments in Dailykos decrying the violent throwing of chairs at the convention despite the fact that some in the community said they watched the entire video record and saw none of it. Yet Sanders detractors jumped on the bandwagon and repeated the lie again and again.
It’s come to light that the chair throwing was all a lie. The nastiness of many here has been frustrating and annoying. So quick to accept the worst. So quick to judge.
And Jon Ralston of PBS, who pushed this lie, couldn’t even take his firing with grace, tweeting “Some personal news: I'm parting ways with PBS. It's clear that I ruffled feathers, and I understand PBS' need to protect its donor base.” Right. Spreads a lie that is picked up on by millions and then laments that PBS is just protecting its donor base when they jettison him because he’s a lousy journalist.
UPDATE: The point of this post was not to claim the election was stolen. Making such an assumption, as some of the commentors did here, means they read into the post. The point was to show that some in the community picked up on one false report and beat it to death. And in the end, it wasn’t even true.
It is sad that some supporters of Hillary Clinton continue with their same attacks. The attacks on Sanders have been beyond the pale. This community is broken. I will never have the same strong, positive feelings for it again.
UPDATE #2: Wow, my point exactly. Some deeply nasty comments. What’s wrong with people? I used to think that Liberals were better at conducting intelligent discussion than Conservatives. But that has been proven false in the thousands of comments during this primary and even the few that have been posted in this minor diary.
