Trump claimed a medical deferment from Viet Nam due to bone spurs in his feet.
But a recent news article in Yahoo listed his athletic accomplishments in high school:
“He played varsity soccer, baseball (the talk back then, his classmates say today, was that he could have gone pro), and football as well as JV wrestling, and intramural basketball and bowling.
He marched a lot too — serving as the commanding officer of the school honor guard for the New York City Columbus Day Parade . . . “
So someone please tell me why Trump, who played all those sports, was somehow able to get a medical excuse to avoid service in Viet Nam? Other than innate cowardice, of course.
