Let’s face it, Trump chose Pence as his VP nominee largely to court the Koch brothers, who adore the creepy little weirdo. But he still can't close the deal.
Trump gave them a list of his Supreme Court picks, still couldn't close.
This weekend, Trump again sent out his zombies to beg and scrape for a meeting. The Kochs' people told him to go away and stop acting like a pathetic desperate loser. They’re focusing on the senate and have zero interest in Trump.
For all Trump’s lies about being a closer, about being a deal maker, it's quickly becoming clear that if he can't even get what should be an extremely sympathetic pair like the Kochs on board, the guy really isn't very good at closing deals in the political world.
If Trump can't close with the Kochs, there’s zero reason to believe he has the skill set to close deals with global leaders, even after giving away the store. It's not like real estate. It's a different world, and Trump is drowning in his own inadequacy.
If Trump doesn't have what it takes to close with conservatives like the Kochs, I almost guarantee he can't close the deal in November.
