I ordered a Pootie Pad from Sara and Ann recently. I ordered it as a gift for lil zen, but when it came, I decided to keep it and see if either of my cats was interested. Razzle (not a cat) was very interested in the package and the contents. She sniffed herself into a tizzy before I got it all unwrapped. But after careful examination, she went off to see if she could find any lizards in the garden. Ash (yes a cat) was not interested at all. He sniffed it and left the area.
Mz. Picky was in my quilt room and next on the scene. She loved it! She rubbed all over it, licked it and when I put it in her “bed” she got right in and went to sleep. I had to give her her own spot to sleep because she was all over the quilts I have sorted out to go various places in the next few weeks. Anyway, the pad made her bed even more appealing and that turns out to be a good thing.
Yesterday, gentlemen came to take the popcorn off the ceilings. They sealed up the rooms, both of them being rooms where Mz. Picky sleeps. She was not happy about it and tried to sneak into my room and hid out in the cat tree until I removed her. But when I brought out her bed, she climbed in, snuggled up with her pad, and slept quietly all day. It was great.
The other animals went out into the garden most of the day since the rooms were sealed and they couldn’t annoy the workmen, but Mz. Picky is much more, well, picky and I am glad she found a place that was comfy for the day. I say “Thanks!” to the ladies of Catnip Manor and their fine wares.
