This week, on the heels of Hillary Clinton's "near-death" experience and "deplorable" comments, Donald Trump—who, for the record, is as healthy as a horse's ass—got some of his best poll results of the campaign.
In fact, many people are saying that they're the best poll results ever.
Clearly, his outreach efforts to minorities and women are paying off.
Hoping to solidify and possibly build on these recent gains, Trump made the calculated decision to disavow his "birther" past (and present) in a made-for-TV event, while at the same time spreading a new conspiracy theory (read: lie).
Then, feeling quite pleased with himself, he returned to his comfort zone; and, with a certain cockiness in his voice—perhaps related to his testosterone level—Trump let his guard down, and once again called for the assassination of his rival.

Daddy's little girl, Ivanka Trump, abruptly ended an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine after her father's history of saying nasty things about women came up.
Trump criticized the interviewer for having "a lot of negativity" in her questions.
Trump had hoped to highlight the Republican presidential nominee's new childcare policy, which she helped craft and introduce this week. But the candidate's daughter bristled when interviewer Prachi Gupta asked, "In 2004, Donald Trump said that pregnancy is an inconvenient thing for a business. It's surprising to see this policy from him today. Can you talk a little about those comments, and perhaps what has changed?"
"So I think that you have a lot of negativity in these questions," Ivanka Trump said, according to Cosmopolitan's transcript. "So I don't know how useful it is to spend too much time with you on this, if you're going to make a comment like that."
She said the question was "an unfair characterization of his track record and his support of professional women."

Holocaust jokester Donald Trump Jr. cut off an interview after his father's shady "charitable" dealings came up.
WTAE — a.k.a., Pittsburgh's Action News 4 News — cornered Trump Jr. about a Washington Post report that documented how Donald Trump used donations made by other people to his charity foundation to buy a six-foot-tall picture of himself.
The interviewer noted that Trump Jr. is listed as the official director of the Trump Foundation, and he asked if he signed off on the foundation using $20,000 of other donors’ money to buy his father a portrait of himself.
"No, I don’t know anything about that," responded the younger Trump.
"So it happened and you didn't know?” the interviewer asked.
"I'm not involved in it," he replied.
At this point, you can hear an aide in the background asking Trump Jr. to cut off the interview and move on.
"Alright, that’s it," the aide said. "We have to move on to the next one."
That’s all, folks!
