At about 10:29 or so, Lester Holt asked Trump whether he supported the current policy on nuclear weapons. He said he was against first strike. So far, so good. And then he said:
At the same time, we have to be prepared, I can't take anything off the table. Because you look at some of these countries. You look at North Korea. We are doing nothing there. CHINA SHOULD SOLVE THAT PROBLEM FOR US. CHINA SHOULD GO INTO NORTH KOREA. China is totally powerful as it relates to North Korea...."
Why is no one picking up on this? Trump said, during the debate, that a nuclear power — China — should “go into” — i.e., INVADE — another nuclear power — North Korea.
I’m not going to ask if he is nuts. I am going to ask why no one is picking up on this?
