Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton certainly has an appeal and it reaches far and wide. Much of her appeal especially seems to reach those who’ve been slighted and insulted by the Republican nominee Donald Trump. I’m not sure if there’s anyone left for him to insult and/or for him to try and degrade. But back to the positive. Here is a short video from the Facebook page Humanity For Hillary, showing over 10 people from all walks of life publicly dedicating their votes for Hillary to those who are special in their lives. Here are some excerpts from the clip:
- I’m dedicating my vote to my grandmother. She was a reporter. She interviewed the president of the Women’s Suffrage Party the day that women got the vote in 1919, so this vote’s for you … from your granddaughter.
- My vote for Hillary Clinton is dedicated to ... my partner of 30 years and my wife of six months. LGBT marriage is all about fairness and equality. And Hillary Clinton cares about protecting fairness and equality. So … this vote is for you.
- I wish my mother was here to witness this. She would be so thrilled. Mom, I dedicate this vote for you.
- Mom this vote’s for you. This is ….She passed away two years ago.
- I am 98 years old and I can’t wait to vote for Hillary Clinton and eager to get to the polls.
- My dad was a fighter like Hillary. He was an amateur figher. She’s practically a professional fighter, and that what I want in a president. I know my Dad would love to have a woman president … this vote’s for you.
- America. This vote is for you.
My favorite, and I love them all:
I am the daughter of Indian immigrants. And without the immigration policies like that of Hillary’s, my parents would have never come to this country and my father wouldn’t have been able to develop countless cancer drugs … I’m dedicating my vote for Hillary to you guys.
That one should be sent to Donald Trump as a reminder.
Kudos to the film’s director, Jan Oxenberg and to Humanity for Hillary for sharing.
