It’s sad to look at the editorials burying the GOP and Trump or the polls that suggest a free-fall.
Headlines like “Republicans Deserve Their Sad Fate” pop off the page.
Oh brother.
There’s going to be a lot of eggs on faces come November 9th.
I actually cringe listening to the elites, knowing that they are only forwarding the Trump agenda and insuring he will get elected.
Quit celebrating, don’t calm down.
What you see on the media is what he has sold as part of the overall “system” he has tied Hillary too.
And that is what fuels his support — the system. Every branch, every pundit, every paper and poll— they are part of the system and these people want to see it fall, if only to stick it to the elites who feel they know better.
We are fighting thousands of years of gender bias and inbred racism. We are fighting nationalism on a deep scale, the Civil War that did not end in 1865 but endured with a bullet to Lincoln’s head.
What Trump represents to these people is something no other Republican has — freedom from the system. Freedom from even the norms of their own party, one must note.
Trump is the freedom, once and for all, to hate. And hating is something this culture does exceptionally well, just ask Twitter.
Problem is that the system itself has bred this hatred and only keeps fueling it by prancing around as a know-it-all while also skirting the rules.
“Third term” elections are change-elections and Dems need to realize that Don’s appeal is precisely founded on “change.” Can we not admit it would unlike those before? We see it as dangerous, whereas they see it as refreshing.
Whether it is Brexit or the Bradley Effect or whatever, we’ve witnessed the strength of the angry white voter while also noting their stealth. They don’t answer polls because polls are just another tentacle of the system they reason.
And that IS what this is about, the system — doesn’t matter what Trump says as long as it is different, as long as it threatens the system and those that represent it, like Hillary.
Democrats need to come to grips with this sad reality. He’s selling ‘change’ pure and simple and given the American melting pot, that is precisely what the white voter wants.
To make things worse, Democrats nominated the poster-child for the system.
See, while minority votes are all great and such, this country is still majority white and they will come out in droves to vote for that change. To them Hillary is anything but change.
Even if it’s detrimental...yes, like Brexit.
So save the celebration please, you’ll end this ‘change’ election with egg batter on your face if you don’t.
Omelette anyone?
