Back in 2014, when #YesAllWomen sprang up to stand testimony to the fact that women from all walks of life experience various forms sexual objectification, harassment and violence, some men (always got to include the “some”) responded to shut women down with #NotAllMen.
At the time, women (and our allies) responded that “it isn’t about you”... because it wasn’t.
But today, Donald Trump and his allies have flipped the coin to say, yes all men do boast pridefully about how they assault, degrade and overpower women.
You know what some guys? Now would be a good time for you to stand up and say that what Donald Trump was talking about, what the Republican party is trying to normalize, is not okay and does not represent you.
I’ll start with you, Ben Carson.
Here is a pro tip, Never Going To Be President Ben, sexual assault is not a “conquest” unless you think abusing women makes you a winner.
