So, until Friday evening, I’d never visited the alternative reality of the alternative right that is Breitbart. On Friday, I went simply to revel in their despair, so justly earned. But, I didn’t find despair, only anger, anger at everyone except their sexual assailant. It was deplorable.
I think it’s important that we at least keep track of what they believe and say. As fact-free, hateful, ridiculous, whatever, as it might be, part of our civic responsibility truly still does require us to know and confront the assumed facts and philosophical underpinnings driving this group.
Therefore, I went, and continue to go, all so that you don’t have to. I am not proud to present, a sampling from the “other side.”
Weep.
1. They’ve moved beyond skewed polls, the polls are fully rigged:
The more the rigged polls show Hillary ahead, the bigger and more impassioned the Trump crowds grow. Trump is right: IT'S US AGAINST THE WORLD. Trump will win this election because someone FINALLY stood up against that criminal hag and her rapist husband and detailed their crimes. MORE TO COME!!!
2. Some are realistic about their chances, just not the strategy to avoid the inevitable.
The only thing that could possibly change this election would be to prove that she is physically unfit to run and that would have to come from a wikileak leak. All of these other leaks that are happening now are not effective. People aren't paying attention to them and the press certainly isn't covering them.
3. Oh, gosh, it has nothing to do with rigged polls, WikiLeaks or paying attention, rallies show the election being stolen.
You’re right many are afraid of VOTER FRAUD. Trump’s rallies can pull over 10,000 supporters easily if they can get a large enough room for him. While with crooked Hillary, she can’t even fill a small room for 100 people, she has to go a college or a trade school where the students are already there. And Chelsea can only fill a room with 50 people like the last one she did.
Like Trump and millions have said without the media lying and defending her, people would have NEVER HEARD OF CROOKED HILLARY -- SHE IS SO OVERRATED
4. Ok — credit where due, Some admit that Republicans do bear some blame. RINOS in CONGRESS!
Isn't Congress supposed to investigate and punish the Executive Branch as part of its Constitutional duties? Shouldn't Congress, as opposed to Wikileaks, be exposing this horrific level of corruption and collusion? Congress would do its job except sinless, perfect angels like Paul Ryan are so emotionally damaged by some locker talk that they would rather throw the election to the Clinton Crime Syndicate. If Hillary wins, prepare for the violent collapse of America. Have you noticed the stock market? Every time it seems Hillary will win it goes down.
* Yeah, that is interesting. Why is it that the Repub Congress has never, ever, investigated Hillary? The wires are even more crossed because we know how much the market would love the instability of Trump, so why is “the establishment” against him?
5. It’s all fun and games until it gets scary. And it does get scary. Apparently they’ll support their dictator in order to get rid of your … dictator?
When law is no longer pursued by our government, you live under a dictatorship. Obama is a dictator. If we lived in a Republic, Congress would issue a warrant for Hillary's arrest for Obstruction of Justice. She deliberately deleted 39k emails while under subpeona. She needs to be indicted. But she won't be and the election is rigged.
Stock up on ammo. It will be the currency of our future
6. The delusional. (Because I must have missed where Obama’s business interests caused him to lie the country into war).
I have been saying it since January 20, 2009. This is the most corrupt administration in the history of this country. I believe it will try to force a Civil War. Hope I'm wrong.
*Have hope, because you’re wrong.
7. It’s going to be ok, so long as RINOs don’t get in the way.
Trump is leading by at least 5-6 points. If Trump stays the course and doesn't give in to these RINOs, he'll definitely win.
Ok. I could go on for hours, because they most certainly do, but you get the picture. In all seriousness, the level of hatred is jaw-dropping. And, it’s generalized hatred, it’s not about a certain “thing” — it’s always about the assumed.
It does scare me. These people take pride in their masculinity (they don’t have time for PC), their guns, and the presumption that they are the patriots, the only ones who can save this country. How did they get to the conclusion that electing a New York bbb...millionaire will save the country? They can’t say it out loud, even among themselves, even on that site, but the only common thread through them is hatred of others, women, minorities, immigrants, “intellectuals,” — just, “others.”
It’s insecurity. Maybe they’re not as important as they are entitled to be? Insecure people with guns, feeling threatened?
It is scary. And that’s why I think it’s important to keep track of what they say or believe.
