I think that pattern is clear, the only question is the final margin
This actually represents a real problem, one friends tell me is already happening in schools on this topic, just like it had before on things like immigrants and Muslims
This next is from an anti-Trump Republican who regularly appears on CNN and who is rapidly becoming a favorite of many:
and there’s more
From our own Armando:
We see a common theme in this:
to which the head of the Center for American Progress responded further:
A dig at a close adviser to Trump by a former Bush speechwriter:
This is from someone who identifies herself as Former online comms strategist to Sen. Paul, Govs Walker & Perry & Carly Fiorina; former RNC Online Comms Director , and its contents should scare the living daylights out of anyone still supporting Trump:
From someone who is not exactly a Democrat, but who has been very critical of Trump:
This next is from a reporter now at NBC who previously worked at both The Hill and CNN:
to which a political science professor who does his own detailed modeling of the election state by state responded:
and NBC news, quoting a source in the campaign, says that Trump is now effectively cutting his campaign back to four states: Pennsylvania, Florida, North Carolina, and Ohio. In theory, if he could sweep those four and hold everything else in which Clinton is not leading (including GA and AZ) he could even lose IA and still win sufficient electoral votes. Except he has no path to winning PA, and never has.
Speaking of predictions, Nate Cohn of Upshot decided to offer this:
then there is this:
although of course we know that so far all that has happened is that a sternly worded letter was sent.
Just a couple of more:
from one of our own:
and a second tweet from one of our overseas “cousins: —
The Hill story in this tweet
is about a twitter storm by a winner of one of Trump’s contests.
Of all the tweets above, the one by Liz Mair should be most concerning for those still supporting Trump. What she says has been reinforced in tweets and comments on TV by a number of people — these were not the other shoes that were expected.
Time for some more popcorn.
