Krista Wujek Threefoot’s daughter Michele was faced with “superhero day” at school. Who would she choose to dress as? Wonder Woman? Super Girl? Cat Woman? Michele decided to turn it up a notch.
In an update, Ms. Threefoot remarked with excitement that the picture had made it to RGB’s assistant, who in turn had emailed them to ask for an address. That was just before Christmas. A couple of days ago a manilla envelope arrived addressed to Michele.
In it was a typed and a handwritten letter from Ruth Bader Ginsburg. My favorite picture is the one of Michele reading the letter.
The typed letter reads:
Reading is the key that opens doors to many good things in life. Reading shaped my dreams, and more reading helped me make my dreams come true.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg
The handwritten letter reads:
Dear Michele
You look just like me!
May you continue to thrive on reading and learning.
Every good wish,
Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
