Donald Trump made time to deal with a matter of deep national urgency early Monday morning—attacking Meryl Streep for her Golden Globes speech. But when it came to policy questions later that day, he repeatedly told reporters to just wait till his big press conference on Wednesday.
Conflicts of interest? "We'll talk about it Wednesday."
The role of his son-in-law, Jared Kushner? "We'll talk about it Wednesday."
Obamacare replacement? "Wednesday."
But guess which policy question he elected to make time for over the weekend.
Former Mexico president, Vicente Fox Quesada, agrees with the media apparently: “TRUMP, when will you understand that I am not paying for that fucken wall.”
Anyway, keep your eye on the wall. Trump wants it worse than anything else he campaigned on. He wants it so bad, he's willing to make American taxpayers pay for it. Can you say, "broken promise"? #MakeAmericaPayAgain
